Android only; not on iPhone. As published at https://help.housecallpro.com/en/articles/8279161-getting-started-with-tap-to-pay-on-mobile (read 2026-10-29) (updated January 21, 2026): Tap to Pay on Mobile for Pros in HCP Payments, on iPhone XS or later (iOS 18.0.1 or later) or Android 11 or above with NFC, at 5 dollars a month for each active Tap to Pay user plus a 2.59% processing fee, the same as card readers. https://www.housecallpro.com/features/ also lists a card reader.
Customer financingWe do not offer customer financing. For a large balance, an installment plan (Professional and above) splits the invoice into scheduled payments with no interest added; we are not a lender. As published at https://www.housecallpro.com/pricing/ (read 2026-10-29) and https://www.housecallpro.com/features/consumer-financing/: consumer financing on every plan, to offer customers "the financing they need", plus business financing.

Claude or ChatGPT can connect on any plan by signing in; it sends only with your permission and your OK on each send.As published at https://www.housecallpro.com/features/ai-team/ (read 2026-10-29): an AI team that helps book more jobs, including CSR AI, which answers calls and books jobs 24/7, and Analyst and Coach AI. https://www.housecallpro.com/pricing/ lists AI team members on every plan and CSR AI as an add-on.
Mobile appsAn Android app on Google Play: the assistant, invoices, estimates with an in-person signature, receipts, phone alerts and Tap to Pay. The iPhone app is in development; until then, use the web app in the iPhone browser. As published at https://www.housecallpro.com/pricing/ (read 2026-10-29): a free iOS and Android app on every plan, with offline viewing, in English and Spanish.
Often the best fitOwner-operators and small trade businesses whose bottleneck is getting paid: estimates that get signed, invoices out fast, collections that run on their own, and a card tapped on the phone at the job.As published at https://www.housecallpro.com/features/ (read 2026-10-29): home service companies running crews that need booking, scheduling, dispatch, routes, GPS and financing in one system. If that decides it, Housecall Pro is the better buy.

Is Invoice My Clients a Housecall Pro replacement?+

For invoicing, estimates, collections and taking a card on Android, yes. For booking, scheduling, dispatch, routes, GPS, customer financing or texting customers about arrival times, no: we do not have those, and Housecall Pro does, as published.

How does pricing compare?+

Invoice My Clients has a free plan and flat monthly plans per account, starting at $15 a month. Housecall Pro, as published on its pricing page on 2026-10-29, has three paid plans with 1, 5 and 8 users included, a 14 day trial and no free plan. Because both change, compare the two pricing pages directly.

How do in-person card payments compare?+

Ours is Tap to Pay on Android, on Starter and above, with no reader and no monthly user fee: you pay Stripe's in-person fee at cost (see stripe.com/pricing), and a declined tap costs 10 cents. It is not on iPhone. Not with us: we offer installment plans on Professional and above, which split an invoice into scheduled payments with no interest, but no lending. Housecall Pro, as published, includes consumer financing on every plan.

Which apps do you have?+

How does the AI compare?+

Ours bills: it drafts and sends invoices and estimates with your approval, chases overdue balances and connects to Claude or ChatGPT on any plan. Housecall Pro's, as published, is aimed at booking work: CSR AI answers calls and books jobs, and Analyst and Coach AI give insights and guidance.

Can I bring my clients over?+

Yes. Import clients by CSV, connect Stripe for payments, and connect QuickBooks Online or Xero (Professional and above) if you keep the ledger there.
