From the proposal to the paid invoice
Agency revenue leaks between the pitch and the payment: scope agreed on a call, hours logged nowhere, an invoice raised from memory a month later. This is the setup that keeps the thread intact from proposal through to cash.
01 / Agencies and studios
Client work has more moving parts than a product business
Several people touch the same client, work is quoted before it is scoped, retainers and project work run at once, and the person who did the work is rarely the person who bills it. Every one of those is a place revenue goes missing.
Business is the plan built for it: a proposal that becomes the invoice, time tracked per project and per rate, purchase orders matched against what suppliers actually delivered, and three seats with roles so account managers can raise work without seeing the whole ledger.
- Send proposals with pricing tables and e-signatures, then convert the signed version into an invoice.
- Track billable time by project and rate, so a retainer overrun is visible before it is written off.
- Match supplier purchase orders two ways or three ways before you pay a subcontractor.
- Give the team seats and roles instead of sharing one login.
02 / Capabilities
What an agency needs that a solo tool does not have
Six capabilities that show up the moment more than one person touches the billing.
Proposals that become invoices
Sections, pricing tables, e-signatures, approval workflow, and scheduled send. The accepted proposal converts into the invoice with no retyping.
Billable time by project
Rates per project and per person, calendar sync, and unbilled time visible before the month closes rather than after.
Seats, roles, and permissions
Three seats included and $15 for each one after, with advanced roles so account managers, producers, and finance see the right slice.
Collections that protect the relationship
Autonomous dunning chases on schedule in your voice, so the account manager is not the one asking a client for money every week.
Purchase orders with matching
Two-way and three-way matching against subcontractor and supplier invoices, with vendor tolerance overrides for the small variances.
Profitability you can see per client
Reports on billed versus tracked hours, aging by client, and collection effectiveness, so an unprofitable account shows up early.
03 / Plan fit
Business is the agency plan
Three seats, purchase orders, e-invoicing, every integration, and the biggest self-serve AI allowance. Enterprise is the step beyond it when you need SSO, audit exports, or to bill under more than one brand.

04 / Process
How the thread stays unbroken
Quote it properly
Build the proposal with sections and pricing tables, send it for e-signature, and keep the approval trail on the record.
Track the work against the quote
The team logs time by project and rate. Overruns against the retainer show up while there is still time to have the conversation.
Bill without rebuilding the scope
Convert the signed proposal into the invoice, pull in unbilled time and pass-through expenses, and send under your own branding.
Keep collections off the account team
Dunning runs the follow-up, matched purchase orders keep supplier costs honest, and reports show which clients are actually profitable.

Agency billing questions
How do seats work?
Business includes three seats with advanced roles and permissions. Extra seats are $15 each per month. If you need SSO, SCIM provisioning, or seat bands for a larger team, that is Enterprise.
Can we bill under our client’s brand?
Your own logo and brand color apply on every paid plan. A custom domain for client-facing pages is Enterprise, and fully brand-free pages, PDFs, and emails, plus a reseller console for sub-accounts, is the White Label plan.
Do proposals support approvals before they go out?
Yes. Proposals have an internal approval workflow and scheduled send, so a principal can sign off before a proposal reaches the client, and the accepted version converts directly into an invoice.
How do purchase orders help an agency?
They keep subcontractor and supplier costs tied to what was actually authorized. Two-way matching checks the invoice against the PO, three-way adds the receipt, and vendor tolerance overrides stop small variances from blocking payment.
