Timers, manual entries, projects, and billable rates. Calendar sync pulls meetings in from Google, Outlook, or iCal so client calls do not go unbilled.
Retainers on autopilot
Set a recurring invoice once and it issues, sends, and reconciles on its own schedule. Scheduled send handles the one-off you want to land on the first of the month.
Every way a client pays
Cards, ACH, Apple Pay, and Google Pay through Stripe, plus partial payments. Saved-card auto-pay is paused for every account; clients pay through the secure payment form. Processing is pass-through with no markup from us. PayPal, Square, Authorize.net, Braintree, and Worldpay are in beta, available on request.

Late interest without the awkward email
Compounding interest on overdue invoices applies on the terms you set, so the invoice does the enforcing and you stay the good guy. Flat late fees are in preview and not yet available.
Tax rules you set once
Set tax rates per line, per client, or per document, and they apply on every invoice from then on. The rate used is recorded on the document, so a question six months later has an answer.

Starter covers unlimited invoices and clients, every payment gateway, recurring billing, and interest on overdue invoices. Professional is the step up when you start sending proposals, tracking time seriously, and want autonomous dunning doing the follow-up.

Freelance billing questions
Which plan should a freelancer start on?
Starter at $15 a month covers most solo work: unlimited invoices and clients, recurring billing, every payment gateway, interest on overdue invoices, and sales tax. Move to Professional when you need proposals with e-signatures, real time tracking with calendar sync, the AR dashboard, or autonomous dunning.
Can I bill hourly and by project on the same invoice?
Yes. Tracked time comes across as billable lines at your project rate, and you can add flat-fee lines, expenses, discounts, shipping, and tax to the same invoice.
What happens when a client pays late?
On Starter and up, compounding interest applies to overdue invoices according to your terms. On Professional and up, automatic reminders go out by email and text once you switch them on, and autonomous dunning escalates only the invoices that need a human. Flat late fees are in preview and not yet available.
Do I have to remove your branding manually?
The "Powered by" line comes off from Starter upward, and your own logo and brand color go on invoices, PDFs, and client-facing pages on every paid plan.
