Start from the problem, not the feature list

Know who owes you what

Not "roughly how much is out there" but which clients, which invoices, how late, and what is already being done about each one.

The situation

You are deciding whether to take on more work, pay yourself, or chase. The answer depends on receivables you can only see by opening invoices one at a time.

What goes wrong today

The invoice list is sorted by date, not by risk. A client with four small overdue invoices looks fine; one with a single large one looks alarming. Nobody can say what the business is owed on a given day without a spreadsheet.

How it works in Invoice My Clients

The AR dashboard (Professional plan and above) shows aging buckets, days sales outstanding, collection rate and a forecast of what should arrive when, with the escalation queue of invoices waiting on a decision. Drill from a bucket to the invoices and the clients behind it. For any client, send a statement of account listing every open invoice with its age, as PDF or email (Starter plan and above). The reports page holds the aging report for export.
