Bill a brand ambassador retainer every month
Some brands sign a creator for six months, not one post. The fee is the same every month and it is easy to forget to invoice it. A recurring invoice does the remembering.
The situation
A fitness creator signs a six-month ambassador deal: a monthly fee for four posts and two stories, invoiced on the first of each month. By month three the invoice goes out on the ninth, because you were filming.
What goes wrong today
Each month you copy last month’s invoice, change the date, forget to change the number, and send it late. The brand’s finance team pays on a fixed cycle, so a late invoice is a late payment.
How it works in Invoice My Clients
On Starter and above, create the first month’s invoice with "Monthly ambassador fee, 4 posts and 2 stories" on the line, make it recurring: pick the monthly interval and the start date, and each cycle creates and sends the invoice on schedule.
The brand pays on the View and pay link in the email. Viewed notifications tell you when it was opened, and on Professional and above the AR dashboard shows any month that is late.
