Worked example
An invoice dated 8 November 2026 on Net 30 is due Tuesday 8 December 2026, the Immaculate Conception. Rolled to the next business day it is due Wednesday 9 December.
What the list covers
The list is the holidays marked in all 17 autonomous communities plus Ceuta and Melilla in the BOE resolutions for 2026 and 2027. Each region adds its own (Holy Thursday everywhere except Catalonia and Valencia, regional days) and each town adds two local holidays. Ley 3/2004 does not allow business-to-business payment terms above 60 calendar days.
- 1 November and 6 December 2026 fall on Sundays, so they are not in the 2026 common list; several regions moved them to the Monday.
- In 2027, 15 August falls on a Sunday and is not in the common list.

Only holidays shared by every region are included. Regional and local holidays vary, so add yours when they matter.
What is the longest payment term allowed in Spain?
For commercial transactions, Ley 3/2004 article 4 does not allow an agreed term above 60 calendar days from delivery.
Where does the list come from?
The Dirección General de Trabajo publishes it in the BOE every October for the following year.
